Second Front is a game in the Europa series of comprehensive division-level games of World War II in Europe and North Africa.

Grand Europa will link the individual Europa games and re-create World War II in Europe and North Africa at the division level, using consistent unit strengths and interlocking maps. Each individual Europa game deals with a specific campaign or battle in detail. To provide detailed historical accuracy or playability, individual games may use differing unit scales, time scales, or specialized rules.

Second Front continues this tradition. The rules are a careful selection of Europa rules and specialized rules allowing detailed examination of the events of the campaign. The maps and counters are at standard Europa scales.

• 26 counter sheets with 4800 counters (60-73, 74A, 74B, 75A, 75B, 76A, 76B, 77A, 77B, 78A, 78B, 79A, 79B) A reprint edition of 1997 included slightly modified counters replacing sheets 60 through 75B with 60A through 75A and adding one universal marker sheet.
